Dr. Amanda Schneider
Dr. Schneider returned to Southwest Iowa Dental in 2018. She graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2013. Her passion for dentistry focuses on maximizing patients’ overall health. Dr. Schneider is trained in dental sleep medicine to treat sleep apnea. She excels in crowns, veneers, dentures, clear aligner braces, and interceptive arch expansion for children.
Dr. Schneider lives in Shenandoah with her husband, Dr. Timothy Smith, and their two children. She is an active member of the community as a founding board member of the Forum to Revitalize Shenandoah. In her free time, she enjoys local food and outdoor activities.
Dr. Daniel Binkowski
Dr. Daniel Binkowski, also known as “Dr. B” by his patients, is a general dentist with a true passion for dentistry and a very diverse skillset from his unique education and training. He has developed a practice where he can provide family dentistry as well as specialized services. A few of these include wisdom teeth removal, implants, and in-office deep sedation. His passion for dentistry has created a practice that caters to those wanting the highest level of comfort and care.
Dr. Desirae Oltmanns
Dr. Desirae Oltmanns has been with Southwest Iowa Dental Associates since June 2023. She is an Iowa native and is familiar with the small-town life. She attended Iowa State University for her undergraduate studies and went on to graduate from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Dr. Oltmanns is an avid learner and keeps herself updated on the latest advancements in dentistry. Her friendly and empathetic nature creates a welcoming environment for her patients. When she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys reading, outdoor activities and traveling with her fiance.
Dr. Chad Johnson
Dr. Chad Johnson developed Veranda Dentistry (formerly Oral Health Clinic, P.C.) in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, the Central Iowa town where he was raised.
Dr. Chad is a Southeast Polk High School graduate. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa and continued at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005.
